Beijing Huaihai Intellectual Property Agency (formerly Xuzhou Huaihai Patent Office) was established in June 2001, with the State Intellectual Property Office filing No. 32205, restructured and established by Xuzhou Patent Office, a subordinate institution of the former Xuzhou Science and Technology Bureau, Jiangsu Province Youth Civilization, Jiangsu Science and Technology SMEs, Xuzhou Innovative Enterprises.

After more than 30 years of development, Huaihai Intellectual Property Agency has a team composed of project management experts, examiners, agents, lawyers, certified public accountants, copyright agents, system engineers, etc. All team members have full-time Bachelor degree or above, covering technical fields such as machinery, electronics, automation, biology, chemical engineering, and medicine.

At present, the firm has established close strategic cooperation with many foreign intellectual property agencies/law firms, serving nearly 1,000 domestic and foreign clients, including University of Science and Technology of China, China University of Mining and Technology, Jiangnan University, Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences , Xuzhou Medical University, Jiangsu Normal University, Xuzhou Institute of Technology and other universities, research institutes and large enterprises.
